Dr. Gregory Gavric has been caring for Oak Creek families for nearly 40 years with chiropractic care that helps patients get their lives back. A Family Legacy of Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic is part of Dr. Gavric’s family story. His grandfather was one of the first chiropractors licensed in Wisconsin in 1924, and his mother avoided spinal fusion surgery in the 1940s thanks to chiropractic care after a riding accident.
Years later, as a young man headed to medical school and an athlete who played Division III football and competed in bodybuilding and bike racing, he realized he did not want to spend his life writing prescriptions or doing surgery and was drawn to a hands-on way to help the body work the way it should.
He also struggled with severe back problems in his twenties and knows what it is like to be told that surgery might be the only answer.
Training, Experience and How He Works With Patients
Dr. Gavric studied biology and chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1986. Since then, he has focused on how spinal misalignments, poor posture, and pinched nerves affect the whole body. During your first visit, he listens to what hurts and how it is affecting your life. He uses digital X‑rays when needed and then the next day explains the results in plain language and lays out a clear plan.
